Itinerary and Tour Inclusions

Day 1, June 16, 2012   Saturday    D
We’ll depart Lowell Middle School at 6:00 am this morning for our exciting tour to the East Coast and Washington D.C.! We’ll travel through Canada so we can stop and see Niagara Falls and ride the Maid of the Mist.  Our first night will be spent in Binghamton, New York.
Day 2, June 17, 2012 Sunday    CB  L  D
Today will be spent exploring the “Big Apple”.   After lunch at South Street Seaport, we take a heart stopping thrill ride on The Shark.  We’ll tool around town aboard a double-decker bus.  Then we get to see the city from up high on top of Rockefeller Center.  We will walk to Times Square and have dinner at Bubba Gump Shrimp Company before heading to Philadelphia for the night.
Day 3, June 18, 2012 Monday     B  L  D
After breakfast at Hard Rock Cafe, our morning will be spent touring Independence Hall, see the Liberty Bell and visit the National Constitution Center filled with interactive displays.  After lunch at the Bourse we’ll go to Washington D.C. for dinner and a guided tour of our nation’s capital.
Day 4, June 19, 2012 Tuesday  CB  L  D
We’ll travel to Mount Vernon to tour George Washington’s beautiful home and then onto Madame Tussauds where we will come face to face with some of the world’s most historical figures.  The afternoon will be spent exploring the Smithsonian Museums.   Our dinner will be at the Pentagon Mall where we will have some time for shopping before heading back to our hotel.
Day 5, June 20, 2012 Wednesday     CB  L  D
We will take a tram through Arlington Cemetery.  Next is the world’s most interactive museum, The Newseum.  After lunch we will head for Gettysburg.  Once in Gettysburg we will have dinner and enjoy a Ghost Walk through the historic streets.
Day 6, June 21, 2012  Thursday  B  L  D
This morning will be spent touring the Gettysburg National Military Park with a Park Service guide and do some last minute souvenir shopping.  This afternoon & evening we’ll enjoy the amusement rides at Hershey Park! Afterwards, we will reboard our  motorcoach and head for home.
Day 7, June 22, 2012 Friday
We will arrive back in West Michigan
