Tour Itinerary and Inclusions
Day 1, June 16, 2010 Wednesday
We’ll depart Unity Christian High School at 9:00 pm this evening for our exciting tour to Washington D.C.! We’ll travel through Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Maryland to reach our nation’s capital in the morning.
Day 2, June 17, 2010 Thursday B L D
We’ll make a stop for breakfast before arriving in our nation’s capital for our first day of touring. We will go up in the Washington Monument, visit the Bureau of Engraving & Printing and have lunch before we head to our hotel for a little R& R and settling in. Then it’s back to Washington for dinner at Union Station and then a guide will join us on our motorcoach for a guided tour of the city.
Day 3, June 18, 2010 Friday B L D
After breakfast at our hotel we will head to the Supreme Court Building, and then onto the Capitol Building. After lunch we will tour the Newseum, the world’s most interactive museum. We have dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe and then tour some more memorials before heading back to our hotel for the night.
Day 4, June 19, 2010 Saturday B L D
The morning will start with a tour of Arlington Cemetery. We will tour the Smithsonian Museums and the Holocaust Museum. We will have dinner and some shopping time at the Pentagon City Mall before going back to our hotel for some swim time.
Day 5, June 20, 2010 Sunday B L D
Our last day in Washington we’ll spend it visiting Mt. Vernon, George Washington’s beautiful home, and then tour the rest of Smithsonian Museums that we have missed. After a fun filled dinner at ESPN Zone we will depart Washington DC for home.
Day 6, June 21, 2010 Friday
We will arrive back in West Michigan around 9:00 am
